March 25, 2014:We are so very grateful for all of your prayers, love, and support for Leia and our family. It has brought us a lot of strength in the dark hours. Leia continues to struggle and her story is still uncertain. We have seen sunshine today. Her ventilator was removed and she has breathed on her own for a couple of hours. We pray she will continue to draw those precious breathes.
It looks like she will not require surgery on her neck and her neck brace was removed. She is still unconscious and there is no way to predict the effects of the brain injuries. We are just so happy and grateful for the miracle to hold her precious hand and have her close to us.
We have witnessed many miracles and have felt the love of our Heavenly Father and Savior. He has been so good to us. We love you all and appreciate your continued prayers and support for our beautiful girl.
